There are some major changes coming to G!X soon!!!

please enlighten us!! lol

Servers are moving to total control under their respective owners.

G!X will no longer be a "gaming" clan, meaning, We won't host anymore servers. We will be the meeting place for server owners, members, visitors or anyone else that wants a place to host a forum. I will be cleaning up the forums soon and making new areas for more and newer games. For example, if you Hitman wanted to own a LoL server, you can on your own and we will have a place for you to post ideas and stuff for your server.

If you want to stay with a G!X tag it is welcome but you do not have to. Most other changes affect the server owners and they are well on their way to having their own servers - Blue and MC servers are already up and going. I will be shutting down the current servers soon.

I wanted to do this compared to disbanning the clan and we can still keep the family together.

Any questions, concerns and/or comments are welcome.

so basically becoming a server/forum host of your server? it might just be me but not sure this explains much or do you mean each owner will host their own server and just use these forums?

is that not what was happening anyway? appart from your support was there? i dont mean to sound confrontational here i am genuinely just curies trying to understand this so anyone can now set up their own clan off of server too?

I was taking care of all the servers. They were hosted on my VPS and they won't be there anymore. I had to do tech stuff and maintainence that I just can't keep with anymore. I didn't want to disban the clan so I decided to keep the name, the domain and forums so we can still stay in contact. Conrad suggested we open the forums to more games so we can attract other players to be part of our family.

The owners now have their own server providers (Gameservers, etc....) I am not taking care of the back end anymore. I will not be processing owner payments anymore or asking for the payments to support the servers.

If you want to leave G!X then sure, you can setup your own clan. But if you want to stay with the family, which I prefer obviously, then you can still setup your own server and have the forums and members meet here. Use this as a collaboration, meeting and fun space. You would control your own server TOTALLY.
